I just saw an image that popped in my head and I was like yup , this can work. It took me while to draw him because I haven't did a sitting pose like that before and it can be a hard because of the anatomy but the snake popped in my head the same time the pose did. So, a win win to me.
Quick Summary first:
Material smudges easily , and material is satin finish , so its sturdy like a usual notebook but the satin finish makes it kinda like thicker paper but it smears so easily. So, when u get it , its less likely to be completely spotless ,unfortunately. Because smears so much and easily. So keep that in mind, if u don't have experience with matte finish. Its just really hard to keep this material from smudging or randomly staining. But, you can color over it easily.
1.) Artify Premium Watercolor Marker Pens:
I don't think the water color marker pens did a bad job on the cover I liked it. I think I just liked the color pencils more, personally.
2.) Crayola Color pencils :
Its Okey for cover and back of it would be the same. But it is very light. Depending. If push hard-ish not that bad. It's just not sure if the tooth of the cover will stand up.
3.) Sanford Prismacolor
I felt like the color was easier and darker, more pigment but the tooth of the cover , if you push to hard it will make it hard to layer or add color. So, I think layering is hard at least with the art supplies I used. I only have the cheaper ones right now.
5.) Cover Pages:
the markers I used works okey with this. The color pencils works better depending on which ones in my opinion. I only used one brand of markers and I'm not the best at coloring.
6.) Bleedthrough:
Its the cover so I don't think its gonna bleed through cause it seems sturdy but it might just depend on what your using. . But, you can always add paper behide to be extra safe.
7.) Just remember whatever art supplies you use it could smear onto skin, clothes or surfaces.
