It took me while to draw him because I haven't did a sitting pose like that before and it can be a hard because of the anatomy but the snake popped in my head the same time the pose did. Crayola Color pencils :\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e Its Okey for cover and back of it would be the same. But it is very light. Depending. If push hard-ish not that bad. Sanford Prismacolor\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI felt like the color was easier and darker, more pigment but the tooth of the cover , if you push to hard it will make it hard to layer or add color. So, I think layering is hard at least with the art supplies I used. And higher quality ones , it might work better.
